Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo is optimistic that Ola Aina will soon sign a new contract with the club.
Aina is in the final five months of his contract with the Tricky Trees.
The duo of Santiago Murillo and Chris Wood recently penned new contracts with the club.
Forest risk losing Aina on a free transfer in the summer if the defender fails to sign a new deal by the end of the season.
Santo said things are going well between Aina and the club.
“I think there will be good news. Things are going well. I am positive and confident everything is going to be solved,” Santo told a press conference on Thursday.
Media Talk Africa recalls that Aina joined the Reds on a one-year contract in 2023.
Forest activated the one-year contract extension in the full-back’s contract last summer.
