2027: APC launches e-registration to link members to NIN

As part of its plan to create a comprehensive database, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has launched e-registration to link members to the National Identification Number, NIN, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

APC made the announcement after signing an agreement with consultants in charge of the exercise.

In a statement issued on its official X account on Wednesday, the party said, “The strategic agreement with our consultants will modernize, strengthen, and digitize our membership register.”

“The initiative marks a significant shift from an analogue to a digital membership database.”

The agreement was signed by APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje.

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma and Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, among others, were present at the signing.
