NWFL: Ogbonda commends players draw for draw with Rivers Angels

Bayelsa Queens head coach, Whyte Ogbonda has commended his players for playing to instructions in the draw against Rivers Angels.

The Prosperity Girls held Rivers Angels to a 1-1 draw at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, on Wednesday.

Ogbonda said he is delighted with the overall performance of the girls.

“I’m so happy with the performance of my players as they played according to the game plan,” Ogbonda reacted.

“Rivers Angels were lucky to have scored first, if we had scored first we would have won the match.

“I praised my girls as they gave 100% and adhere to the game plan.”

Bayelsa Queens maintained their position at the summit of the group B table with 11 points from five matches.

They will battle with Naija Ratels in their next game at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Wednesday.
