LaLiga: Sevilla coach explains why Ejuke is struggling

Sevilla manager, Garcia Pimienta remains optimistic Chidera Ejuke will soon regain top form.

Ejuke recently returned to action for the LaLiga club after a lengthy injury layoff.

The Nigeria international has however struggled to make positive impact in recent outings for the Rojiblancos.

Pimienta said it is important to give the winger more time to recover from the injury.

“Ejuke has played four games and perhaps he is not showing his best version, but he is part of the process after a serious injury” he told the club’s official website.

“We have to be patient with him because he trains phenomenally and I am convinced that he will end up getting to that best version.”

The 27-year-old has scored once in 13 league appearances for Sevilla this season.

The Rojiblancos will be away to Real Valladolid on Sunday.
