Man Utd need to sell players – Amorim

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, on Friday said his club needs to sell players.

Amorim spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Man United’s Premier League tie with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Portuguese was speaking about transfers for the Red Devils.

Man United only signed Ayden Heaven from Arsenal and Patrick Dorgu from Lecce during the January transfer window.

The Old Trafford club didn’t strengthen their attacking options, despite Amorim not having enough firepower.

Speaking about transfers for Man United, Amorim said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “Here it’s simple: to do something we need to SELL players.

“You know the rules better than me, so our focus is to win these games and then we have time to focus on that”.

Meanwhile, Man United allowed Antony joined Real Socieded on loan during the January transfer window.

Man United currently sit in the 13th position on the Premier League table after 23 matches.
