Ukrainian President Zelensky draws red line for Trump, Putin

Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky has revealed that the only way to meet the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin in person would be after negotiating a common plan with the US President Donald Trump.

President Zelenskyy, who spoke on Friday during a meeting with journalists in Munich, as reported by a European Pravda correspondent, views Trump as crucial to ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

He revealed that Trump provided him with his direct phone number ahead of Friday’s Munich Security Conference.

Trump had earlier in the week, disrupted years of unwavering US support for Ukraine following a phone call with Putin.

The disruption of the US support signaled a potential shift in American policy, particularly in regards to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
