Sad day for Tennis, no fairness – Australia’s Kyrgios reacts to Jannik Sinner’s ban

Australian tennis star, Nick Kyrgios has reacted to the world’s number one in Men’s Tennis, Jannik Sinner’s three months ban over doping.

Sinner was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, WADA, on Saturday for doping offence.

However, Kyrgios was not pleased with the three months ban, describing WADA’s decision on Sinner as a ‘sad day for tennis.’

According to him, the verdict of WADA shows that there’s no fairness in tennis.

Kyrgios posted on X: “So WADA come out and say it would be a 1-2 year ban.

“Obviously, Sinner’s team have done everything in their power to just go ahead and take a 3-month ban, no titles lost, no prize money lost.

“Guilty or not? Sad day for tennis. Fairness in tennis does not exist.”

Meanwhile, Sinner will be eligible to return to competitive tennis before the French Open which starts in late May, this year.
