Musicians don’t support Nollywood as much – Timini Egbuson

Movie star, Timini Egbuson, has insinuated that musicians don’t support the movie industry as much as actors support their music.

The thespian said he wished musicians would support the film industry more.

“[I] really wish musicians supported Nollywood the way we support their music but that’s a conversation for another day,” he wrote on his X handle on Sunday.

The Nigerian film and music industries have a close relationship.

Over the years, a lot of musicians have featured in Nollywood movies and several actors have also released their own music, with some of them collaborating with musicians.

Some actresses have also been featured as vixens in music videos.
