EPL: Why Leicester City lost 2-0 to Arsenal – Ndidi

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfried Ndidi, has claimed they were unlucky against Arsenal.

The Foxes conceded two late goals to lose to Mikel Arteta’s men at the King Power Stadium.

Subtitute Mikel Merino came off the bench to get a brace, as Leicester lost a third consecutive defeat.

They now sit in 19th place on 17 points, two points from safety.

“It was a difficult game, we stayed on till they scored the first goal,” Ndidi told Leicester TV.

“It’s quite a tough game but we did well, to be honest, we needed to because we were playing against a top team and it’s something we will take the positives to the next one.

“We knew we were still in the game we were just unlucky we conceded the first goal. We were still in it because we were together, stayed compact.

“They are very good keeping the ball, positioning and tried to get at us.”
