EPL: Bassey urges caution in Fulham’s quest for European ticket

Calvin Bassey says Fulham must remain modest despite their recent impressive run of form in the Premier League.
The Whites defeated Nottingham Forest 2-1 in their Premier League clash at the Craven Cottage on Saturday.

The defender scored the winning goal for Fulham in the encounter.

The victory moved Fulham up to eighth, five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

Bassey, however, refused to look far ahead when asked about aspirations of getting into Europe.

“Everyone always asks me about this European thing,” he told the Premier League Productions.

“For us, it’s just taking each game as it comes. Of course, our goal is to get there, but I think it’s just taking each game as it comes.”
