Fulham manager, Marco Silva, was relieved to see Calvin Bassey get on the score sheet in the club’s win over Nottingham Forest.
Bassey netted the Whites’ winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last Saturday.
It was the centre-back’s first goal of the season for the London club.
Silva said he has been working on the Nigeria international’s positioning in the box.
“The players’ celebration showed how much they appreciate Calvin. It was his first goal for the club, and he’s a very popular figure in the dressing room.
” We’ve been working on his positioning in the box, and it was great to see him finally score.”
