NNL: Gombe United sign five new players

Gombe United have completed the signing of five new players for the second stanza of the season.

The Savannah Scorpions announced the players arrival in a statement on Monday.

The newly recruited players are Bidemi Owoko from Bendel Insurance, Abraham Audu signed from El-Kanemi Warriors, Umar Musa Laduwa joined from Sokoto United, while Abdullahi Muhammed Yayo and Daka Peter moved from Zamfara United.

Meanwhile, Gombe United have also promoted Bello Muhammad Alhajiyel, Waleed Abdullahi Jika and Abdulrazak Muhammad to the first team.

Gombe United expressed optimism that the new additions will significantly bolster and contribute towards their target for the season.

They currently occupy third position on the Group C table.
