Yamal identifies his dream signing for Barcelona this summer

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has named Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala as his dream signing for the Catalan club in the summer transfer window.

The Spain international has enjoyed an extraordinary level of success since making his debut for Barça in August 2023.

The 17-year-old has established himself as a key player for both club and country.

He helped Barcelona finish in second position in La Liga last season before inspiring Spain to Euro 2024 glory.

Yamal has scored five goals and provided ten assists in 21 league appearances for Hansi Flick’s side so far this season.

Asked to name three players outside of Barcelona who inspire him the most, Yamal told Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo: “Musiala, Neymar, Savinho.”

But when asked which among the three players he would most like to sign for Barcelona,

Yamal added, “You want me to say Neymar… but no.

“Musiala, who has a contract [at Bayern Munich].”

Musiala signed a new long-term contract with Bayern Munich last week that will keep him at the club until 2030.

The German has scored 58 goals in 195 appearances for Bayern, helping the Bundesliga giants win four league titles, the UEFA Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, and three German Super Cups.
