NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons coach Danjuma wary of Heartland Queens threat

Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma has acknowledged the challenges posed by Heartland Queens ahead of their matchday six encounter.

The Amazons will square up with Heartland Queens at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.

Danjuma emphasized his team’s readiness for the encounter.

“We know Heartland Queens will come with the mentality of getting a result, especially after they draw at home, we dropped three points in Benin too. However, we’re ready for them,” Danjuma told Nasarawa Amazons media.

“Heartland Queens may be struggling on the log but that doesn’t mean they’re not a good side. In fact, teams at the bottom can be harder to play, so we’ll approach the game with the same intensity as if we were playing the champions.

“Our home support psychologically, will boost our players as we are sure of the three points in today’s match, I believe the Nasarawa Amazons fans will give us maximum support as always.”
