NPFL: Addingi to replace Amokachi at Lobi Stars

Coach Samuel Addingi is expected to take charge at Lobi Stars on interim basis until the end of the season.

Addingi will assume the role of interim head coach following former Super Eagles forward, Daniel Amokachi’s resignation on Monday.

Amokachi tendered his resignation letter in the aftermath of Lobi Stars’ 1-1 draw with Katsina United last weekend.

The tactician is with the team in Ibadan for the Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 25 encounter against Shooting Stars.

Assistant coach Tar Akombo took charge of the team’s training session at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Tuesday.

Lobi Stars are bottom of the league table with 22 points from 24 matches.
