NWFL: Bayelsa Queens show determination in win over Naija Ratels – Technical Adviser Ogbonda

Bayelsa Queens technical adviser, Whyte Ogbonda, has praised his players for their determination in the 2-1 victory over Naija Ratels in Yenagoa.

Ogbonda’s side came from behind to secure maximum points through goals from Dooshima Tarnum and Delight Isaac.

Adama Nwachukwu was on target for Naija Ratels.

Ogbonda assured that the team would continue to grow together.

“We were eager to get the three points, and we knew Naija Ratels are a good side who wouldn’t allow us to have our way easily,” Ogbonda said after the game.

“We planned for them, remained focused on the three points, and we are thrilled to have got them. It was a very good and exciting game from both sides.

“We have a lot of young players in the team, some of whom have just had their breakthrough in the top flight.

“We didn’t lose focus when we went behind, and I’m happy with the quick response from my girls. We stuck to our game plan and kept taking the game to them.”
