Super Eagles coach Chelle scouts NPFL players in Lagos

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle was among the spectators as Ikorodu City staged a comeback to beat Plateau United 2-1 in a thrilling contest at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Wednesday night.

Albert Hilary stunned the home fans seven minutes before the break when he slotted the ball into the net.

Ayomide Olatunji equalised for Ikorodu City in the 74th minute, while Tosin Oyedokun netted the winning goal for the Oga Boys 10 minutes from time.

Shooting Stars and Lobi Stars played out another thriller in Ibadan, battling to a 2-2 draw.

Joshua Akpan put Shooting Stars ahead in the 18th minute, but Ossy Martins levelled for Lobi Stars 16 minutes later.

The visitors took the lead for the first time in first-half stoppage time.

Sadiq Ibrahim, however, restored parity for Shooting Stars seven minutes after the break.
