Trump’s approval rating slightly declines

United States President Donald Trump’s approval ratings have slightly declined since his second coming to the White House one month ago, according to three new national polls released on Wednesday.

Fox News reports that 45% of voters who were questioned in a Quinnipiac University survey said they approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, with 49% disapproving.

According to the report, the latest figure is down from a 46%-43% approval/disapproval in a Quinnipiac poll earlier conducted in late January, which was the President’s first week in office after his inauguration.

However, a new national poll from Gallup showed Trump at 45% approval and 51% disapproval, down from 47%-48% approval/disapproval late last month.

Meanwhile, Trump stood at 44% approval and 51% disapproval, according to a Reuters/Ipsos national survey also released on Wednesday.

The President registered at 45%-46% approval/disapproval in the previous poll by Reuters/Ipsos. This was conducted late last January during the first week of Trump in office.

The latest Quinnipiac poll was conducted February 13-17, with Gallup in the field February 3-16, and Reuters/Ipsos conducting their survey February 13-18.

New surveys this week from other polling organizations indicate Trump’s approval ratings remain above water.

According to a count from Fox News, Trump has signed nearly 70 executive orders since his inauguration.

Trump had argued at a news conference on Tuesday.that “incredible things are happening in our country.”

However, the new polls indicate a massive partisan divide over Trump’s performance.
