Jigawa NNPP lawmaker, Galambi Defects to APC

A member of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in the House of Representatives, Yusuf Galambi, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Galambi’s defection was announced on Thursday during plenary when Speaker Tajudeen Abbas read his letter to the House leadership.

The lawmaker represents the Gwaram Federal Constituency of Jigawa State.
Explaining his decision, Galambi stated that his move to the APC was based on a directive from his constituents.

He also cited the ongoing leadership crisis within the NNPP as a factor in his departure.
“This is not a personal decision but a directive from the constituency I represent,” he said.
