Suspected bandits have abducted the Secretary of Munya Local Government Area, Hon. Usman Daina, along with his wife and a relative, in a late-night attack on his residence in Sarkin Pawa, the headquarters of Munya LGA, Niger state.
The incident, which occurred on Thursday night, was revealed in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on X on Friday.
“Yesterday night, bandits stormed a residence and abducted Munya LGA Secretary, Hon. Usman Daina along with his wife and a relative,” he wrote.
As of the time of this report, authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident, and the whereabouts of the victims remain unknown.
