EPL: They won’t get relegated whatever happens – Sutton predicts Everton vs Man United

Former Chelsea player, Chris Sutton, has predicted the result of Everton’s Premier League game against Manchester United on Saturday.

Surton believes that the Red Devils would be held to a 1-1 draw by Everton in their upcoming clash.

The Red Devils will travel to Merseyside where they will face David Moyes’ men at Goodison Park (today) Saturday, February 22.

Despite changing their manager, the Red Devils have been poor under Ruben Amorim, languishing in 15th place in the league table with 29 points from 25 games.

The Manchester giants have been defeated in three out of their last five league games and are one point off 14th-placed Everton.

Meanwhile, the Toffees are in red-hot form under new boss Moyes, winning four of their last five league fixtures, drawing the remaining one.

Their last league game ended in a 2-2 draw with league leaders and neighbours, Liverpool and now they will fancy their chances at securing a result against Ruben Amorim’s side.

Sutton wrote on BBC Sport, “Everton…go into this game as favourites- and rightly so.

“I actually think this game will be quite tight, though…

“This smells of a 1-1 draw to me, which is what I am going with.

“United are not getting relegated whatever happens, but Amorim needs a decent result or two to build some credit for next season.”
