Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne is up for the English Women’s Super League, WSL, Player of the Month for February.
Payne registered three assists in two league games for the Toffees during the month.
The 27-year-old’s Everton teammate Kelly Gago is also nominated for the award.
The other nominees are Elisabeth Terland (Manchester United), Mariona Caldentey (Arsenal FC), Frida-Maanum (Arsenal FC), and Mary Fowler.
Payne, Media Talk Africa recalls, joined Everton on a free transfer last summer after leaving Spanish club, Sevilla.
She is however yet to open her goal account for the Merseyside club
