NPFL reschedules two matchday 26 fixtures

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has rescheduled two matchday 26 fixtures, Media Talk Africa reports.

The games involved are Rivers United versus Katsina United and Bendel Insurance’s encounter with Ikorodu City.

Both games which were initially billed to take place on Wednesday, February 26th will now be played on Thursday, February 27th.

The remaining matchday 26 fixtures will be played on Wednesday.

The NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi disclosed this in a memo on Sunday.

Owumi stated that the rearrangement of the fixtures was necessitated by broadcast demands.

He urged NPFL teams to ensure adequate and necessary measures are put in place for hitch free games.
