Championship: Dele-Bashiru scores in Watford’s home win against Luton Town

Tom Dele-Bashiru scored his fourth goal of the season as Watford recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory over Luton Town at the Vicarage Road on Sunday.

Mali international Mamadou Doumbia was felled inside the box by Mads Andersen on 10 minutes.

Dele -Bashiru coolly dispatched the spot kick sending Luton Town’s goalkeeper, Thomas Kaminski the wrong way.

The 25-year-old, who was in action for the entire duration of the game, has made 17 league appearances for Watford this season.

Edouard Kayembe netted Watford’s second goal in the 23rd minute.

Tom Cleverly’s side moved to ninth position in the table following the win.

The Hornets will be away to Stoke City in their next game on Saturday.
