NPFL: Babaganaru returns to Lobi Stars as interim head coach

Mohammed Babaganaru has returned to Lobi Stars as interim head coach of the Makurdi club.

The experienced tactician will manage the Pride of Benue for the remainder of the season.

Babaganaru was in charge of Lobi Stars during the 2022/23 season.

The former Wikki Tourists head coach takes charge of the team following the resignation of former Super Eagles forward Daniel Amokachi.

Amokachi, who tendered his resignation two weeks ago, cited personal reasons for his action.

The former Super Eagles assistant coach left Lobi Stars in last position on the table.

Additionally, John Gaadi has been drafted to the team as the goalkeepers’ trainer.

The Pride of Benue will battle Niger Tornadoes in a highly anticipated North-Central derby on Wednesday in Bauchi.
