Super Falcons forward, Monday Gift, is up for Spanish Liga F Player of the Month for February.
Monday scored two goals in three league appearances for Tenerife in the month under review.
The 23-year-old was on target in her club’s away win at Sevilla and Valencia.
Incidentally, her international teammate, Rinsola Babajide, was also on target in both games.
Monday has scored 10 goals in 17 league appearances for Eder Maestre’s side this season.
She is currently behind Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor (15 goals) and Granada’s Edna Imade (12 goals) in the top scorer’s chart.
Other players in the running for the award are Real Madrid’s Alba Redondo, Barcelona’s Caroline Hansen, Ainhoa Marin (Deportivo La Coruna), Ane Azkona (Athletic Club), Ari Mingueza (Granada) and Elba Verges (Eibar).
