Brazilian star Arthur Melo names best football team in the world

Former Barcelona midfielder, Arthur Melo, has named Real Madrid ‘the best team in the world.

Melo currently plies his trade with Girona who played reigning Spanish champions in La Liga on Sunday.

He could do little to stop Real Madrid from beating his club 2-0 and taking all three points.

The Brazilian, who came off the bench, spoke to the press after the games.

“Real Madrid is the best club in the world right now.”

Arthur moved to Barcelona in 2018 from Gremio for a reported €31 million and played 72 games for the club, scoring four times and providing six assists.

He won the LaLiga and one Spanish Super Cup with Catalan, left the club in 2020 to join Juventus for a reported €80.6 million.

In the 6 matches he played against Real Madrid, the Brazilian won three, drawing once, and lost twice.
