Salah not greatest ever footballer to play in EPL – Rio Ferdinand picks two players

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has insisted Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is not the greatest ever footballer to play in the Premier League.

Salah is enjoying a stunning campaign with the Reds, with 25 goals and 16 assists from 27 matches already.

The 32-year-old netted again to help Liverpool beat Manchester City last Sunday and go 11 points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table.

The Egyptian is only three goal contributions behind Erling Haaland’s record of 44 in a single season.

Salah’s incredible form has led several fans debating if he is the best to ever play in England’s top flight.

When asked to weigh in on the debate, Ferdinand picked two strikers ahead of Salah.

“No chance,” he said onTNT Sport.

“He’s not ahead of (Thierry) Henry and (Cristiano) Ronaldo.”
