NPFL: Kwara United coach Sanni upset with draw against Abia Warriors

Kwara United technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has attributed his team’s goalless draw against Abia Warriors to hard luck.

Sanni also emphasized that his players failed to convert their chances in the game.

He however refused to make fatigue an excuse for the outcome of the match.

Kwara United played out a 0-0 draw against Abia Warriors at the Rashidi Yekini/George Innih Stadium in Ilorin on Wednesday.

“How can we be missing clear chances, had it been we have converted the chances the game would have been at our favour,” Sanni stated in a post-match interview.

“There is nothing we can do about fatigue, we are not the only one, aside from Abia Warriors, who didn’t qualify for the state Federation Cup other teams are playing too, there shouldn’t be any form of fatigue because we still have 12 more matches to go in the league.”
