Transfer: Osayi-Samuel to leave Fenerbahce this summer

Nigeria defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel is expected to leave Turkish Super Lig club, Fenerbahce at the end of the season after failing to agree a new contract.

Osayi-Samuel has rejected the chance to sign a new contract at the club demanding a significant pay rise.

The 27-year-old currently earns less than €3 million per year at Fenerbahce.

The versatile full-back wants the Canaries to double his pay, but they are not willing to meet his demands.

According to Turkish news outlet, Mackolik, Fenerbahce have closed all negotiations with Osayi-Samuel, and are willing to allow him leave on a free transfer in the summer.

Osayi-Samuel has been linked with a return to England where the likes of Fulham and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in his services.

He joined Fenerbahce from Sky Bet Championship club, Queens Park Rangers in January 2021.
