Turkey: Osimhen reacts to Galatasaray’s draw with Kasimpasa

Victor Osimhen has reacted to Galatasaray’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa, Media Talk Africa reports.

Galatasaray failed to secure a win for the second consecutive league game after Kasimpasa snatched a late equaliser in the Istanbul derby.

Osimhen bagged a brace for Okan Buruk’s side in the keenly contested encounter.

The Nigeria international now has the highest goal involvements in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

The 26-year-old has accumulated 16 goals and four assists in 21 league appearances for Galatasaray.

Osimhen expressed his disappointment with his team’s failure to claim victory.

“I would say disappointment. That’s the best way to put it. We fought against an effective opponent. I’m proud of my teammates for their efforts,” the striker told the club’s official website.

“Football is like that sometimes. This is a really tough league. You have to fight well from the first minute to the last. You can be punished very quickly. We remain in the championship race. We have all the quality needed to win.”
