NNL: Gombe United part ways with head coach Nkiyu

Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Gombe United have parted ways with their head coach, Bala Nkiyu, Media Talk Africa reports.

Nkiyu’s disengagement was confirmed in a statement by the club.

Gombe United announced that Nkiyu left the club by mutual agreement.

The Savannah Scorpions expressed appreciation to the effort of the veteran tactician during his time at the club.

Gombe United stated that they are working tirelessly to get a capable replacement for the vacant position before the commencement of the second stanza.

They finished the first stanza in third position with nine points in Group C.
