Super Falcons forward, Monday Gift, has been named Spanish Liga F Player of the Month for February.
Monday scored two goals in three league appearances for UDG Tenerife during the month under review.
The 23-year-old was on target in Tenerife’s away wins at Sevilla and Valencia.
Monday has scored 10 goals in 18 league appearances for Tenerife this season.
It’s the first time she will be winning the individual award.
The striker follows in the footsteps of her compatriots, Rasheedat Ajibade and Edna Imade, who have also won the award this season.
