President Donald Trump of the United States is expected to address a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night.

The much-anticipated event will take place six weeks into the new administration.

Trump’s presidency, according to The Washington Post, has been marked by mass firings of federal workers, prompting numerous lawsuits across the country.

During the address, scheduled for 9 p.m. Eastern time, President Trump is expected to discuss some of his policies that have triggered controversies across the U.S. and other parts of the world.

Trump is also expected to talk about his policy on U.S. trading partners and the extraordinary pause in U.S. military aid to Ukraine.

The U.S. President, in a Truth Social post on Monday, stated, “Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is.”
