Sanchez reveals why Mbappe picked form at Real Madrid

Real Madrid legend, Hugo Sanchez, has said that the club’s star player, Kylian Mbappe, received “professional help” while struggling to adapt to how football is played in Spain football.

Mbappe’s has played as a left-wing notably in his career, but has had to play a striking role at Real Madrid.

He has now gotten the hang of it, scoring a hat-trick during the playoffs against Manchester City.

Sanchez believes help was needed to kickstart the former PSG star.

“Great players have to get used to new teammates, a different life. It was not only sporting issues but also non-sporting ones. I’m sure that Mbappe has received professional help,” he told El Larguero.

This help has certainly come in handy, as Mbappe’s performances for Real Madrid have continued to improve in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, a thrilling Champions League night at the Santiago Bernabéu ended with Real Madrid securing a 2–1 victory over Atlético Madrid.
