2026 WCQ: Super Eagles beatable in Uyo – Zimbabwe coach, Nees

Zimbabwe head coach, Michael Nees insists his side can beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria when both teams clash in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying tie later this month.

Nigeria will entertain the Warriors in a matchday six encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.

The Super Eagles are fifth in Group C with three points from four matches, while Zimbabwe are bottom on two points.

Both teams will be desperate for a win to revive their chances of qualifying for the mundial.

Nees is positive his team can claim a famous victory against the Super Eagles.

“Like us, Nigeria have their back against the wall, they are like wounded lions who want to turn the page (after a poor start to the qualifiers.

“It will be an exciting game and Nigeria are beatable in Uyo,” Nees said.
