‘I don’t know if I’ll be here’ – Amorim makes fresh claim on Man Utd future

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has claimed he doesn’t know he will still be at the Premier League club, when they finally get back to their former glories.

Amorim’s comments come following United’s FA Cup exit as they suffered a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Fulham in the fifth round.

The Red Devils currently sit in 14th place in the league table, but are regarded as one of the favourites to win the Europe League this year.

Amorim, who has insisted that his plan is to win the league title at Old Trafford, has however admitted he might not still be around when silverware returns.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Amorim said: “I don’t know if I’m going to be here, but the way we are thinking, we are going to return, and we are going to win in the future.

“But then it’s the risk. We are doing a lot of things, we are not winning games, and when you don’t win games sometimes you have to change people, and we know that.”
