NWFL opens mid-season transfer window

The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has declared the mid-season transfer window open, Media Talk Africa reports.

The NWFL announced the opening of the transfer window following the conclusion of the first stanza of the 2024/25 season.

The league is currently on break after matchday seven fixtures were played last week.

The transfer window will remain open until March 11, 2025.

The NWFL also announced that the second stanza will kick off on March 19.

Remo Stars Ladies lead Group A with 19 points, closely followed by title holders Edo Queens with 17 points.

Rivers Angels lead Group B, tied with Bayelsa Queens on 17 points, while Delta Queens trail behind.
