Katsina United technical adviser, Azeez Mohammed Audu, believes that his team’s patience paid off in the victory over Shooting Stars.
The Chanji Boys defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium on Friday.
Audu stated that his players took total control of the game.
He also expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of his players.
“We took control of the game from the blast of the whistle till the end,” Audu stated in a post-match interview.
“We were patient that the goal would come, and it came at the time that we needed it. It was a very good game, and I am very proud of my boys.”
