EPL: Tuchel returns to Stamford Bridge

England manager Thomas Tuchel is in attendance at Stamford Bridge for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City.

This is the second time Tuchel has returned to Chelsea since taking the Three Lions job last year.

The German will mostly be looking at players like Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Levi Colwill, and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Reece James is out due to illness and won’t have the chance to impress his former manager.

Blues co-owner Todd Boehly is also in attendance.

Tuchel was sacked in September 2022, the morning after a Champions League defeat to Dinamo Zagreb.

The club’s new owners, a Boehly-led US consortium, claimed it was “the right time” to bring in a new head coach after their takeover four months earlier.

The current manager of the team is Enzo Maresca, who arrived from Leicester last summer.
