2026 WCQ: Win over Rwanda will be turning point for Super Eagles — Musa

Ahmed Musa says a win for the Super Eagles against the Amavubi of Rwanda will be the turning point for the team in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Super Eagles are winless in Group C after four matches.

Eric Chelle’s men have recorded three draws and one defeat in four matches.

The West Africans will be guests of Rwanda in a matchday five encounter at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Friday, March 21.

Musa declared that it is important for the Super Eagles to pick maximum points from the game.

“The important game is Rwanda,” the former Leicester City player told reporters in Ilorin ahead of Kano Pillars league clash with Kwara United.

“If we can get the three points from that match it’s going to be a turning point for us. But it is not just a job for the Super Eagles alone.

“Every Nigerian must be involved because we need their support.”

The Super Eagles will entertain the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, four days after the game with Rwanda.
