Transfer: Ikorodu City defender set for Leeds United move

Ikorodu City defender Leonard Ngenge will join Sky Bet Championship club Leeds United this summer.

According to Ikorodu City’s director, Adepoju Tobi Samuel, Ngenge has already signed a pre-contract with Leeds United.

The Whites are pushing for promotion to the Premier League.

Daniel Farke’s side currently tops the Championship table with 76 points from 36 matches.

Ngenge will link up with Leeds United when he turns 18 in August.

The youngster will train with Leeds United’s U-18 side, from where he is expected to graduate to the main team.

He was named Man of the Match in Ikorodu City’s 1-0 win over Lobi Stars on Sunday.
