Hip-hop star Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor, popularly known as Illbliss, has shared what an elder told him about praying for Nigeria.
The ‘Emi Ni Baller’ crooner revealed that an early man told him that praying for Nigeria was a waste of prayer time and mocking of God.
He disclosed that he encountered the elderly man while reciting ‘Prayer for Nigeria’ during a recent morning mass.
Following the elderly man’s statement, Illbliss took to his social media to give a shoutout to everyone surviving in Nigeria despite the hardship, insecurity and bad governance.
On his X handle, he wrote, “Shoutout to every one surviving Nigeria.
I was in morning mass today reciting ‘Prayer for Nigeria” and the elderly man next to me smiled afterwards and said to me ‘That’s a total waste of prayer time with God. You can’t Mock God. ”
