Transfer: Super Eagles goalkeeper joins Ethiopian club, Wolwalo

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has sealed a move to Ethiopian club Wolwalo Adigrat University.

The 29-year-old joined the modest side on a short-term contract.

Olorunleke’s contract was recently terminated by Sudanese club Al Merrikh SC, paving the way for his free transfer to Wolwalo Adigrat University.

Wolwalo are currently bottom of the Ethiopian League, with only nine points from 19 matches.

The shot-stopper was part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.

He won the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, title with Enyimba in 2023.
