2026 WCQ: Niger Tornadoes’ Daniel thrilled with Super Eagles invitation

Niger Tornadoes midfielder Papa Daniel says he is “honored” with his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles.

Daniel was named in a 23 -man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

He acknowledged the support of his teammates and coaches for the invitation.

“Honored to receive a @NGSuperEagles invitation to represent this beautiful nation at the qualifiers for The Next edition of the FIFA World Cup with the senior team,” Daniel wrote on X.

“Thankful to my teammates and coaches and grateful for the good messages I’m still getting.

“God Bless Nigeria.”

Media Talk Africa recalls that Daniel was previously part of the Super Eagles B team.
