Four players will miss the final of the Carabao Cup between Liverpool and Newcastle United.
The Carabao Cup final will take place on Sunday evening at Wembley Stadium.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed at his pre-match press conference on Friday that defender Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
“Trent is indeed not available,” Slot said at his pre-match press conference. “He will not be there at the final.”
Meanwhile, Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that Anthony Gordon, Lewis Hall, and Sven Botman will also miss the Carabao Cup final.
“Lewis Hall and Sven Botman are recovering after their operations. Anthony is suspended.
“But apart from that, we hope to have the full squad,” Howe said at his press conference.
The kick-off time for the Carabao Cup final is 5:30 pm.
