American singer Normani has revealed that her fiancé NFL player DK Metcalf told her he envisioned marrying her even before they began dating.
In an interview with Vogue, Normani said Metcalf told her that he knew he was going to marry her after watching her ‘Motivation’ music video in the locker room.
“He was like, ‘The moment that I saw you come up on that screen, I said, ‘That’s going to be my wife. That’s going to be my girlfriend one day.’ I was in a relationship at the time, and then the chips just fell the way that they did,” she said.
Recall that Metcalf announced at a press conference on Thursday that he and Normani are engaged.
He disclosed that he had proposed during a recent family get-together in Houston, Texas.
Following an introduction by singer Ciara, who is married to Metcalf’s now-former Seattle Seahawks colleague Russell Wilson, the couple made their romance public in 2023.
