Niger Tornadoes youngster, Rickson Mendos has been invited to Flying Eagles for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
Mendos has been impressive for the Ikon Allah Boys since his promotion to the main team this season.
The 18-year-old forward has featured in 19 league matches and registered one goal.
Mendos teamed up with Sabiu Ibrahim who has been a regular with the Flying Eagles under the tutelage of coach Aliyu Zubairu.
Nigeria will battle Morocco, Egypt and South Africa in Group B at the competition.
The competition is scheduled to run from Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, May 18, 2025.
