NNL: Barau FC adopts new ground for Zamfara United clash

The Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Barau FC have adopted the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata as their home ground for the matchday nine fixture against Zamfara United.

Barau FC disclosed this in a statement by the club’s media officer Ahmed Hamisu Gwale.

Gwale stated that the decision was necessitated due to the upcoming Sallah festival celebration

The encounter is billed to take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025 by 3pm.

Barau FC will return to their original home ground the Dambatta Stadium for their home remaining fixtures afterwards.

They urged their club supporters to remain law-abiding in their temporary ground.

Barau FC currently occupy fifth position on the Group C table with six points.
