2026 WCQ: Rwanda start preparation for Super Eagles showdown

The Amavubi of Rwanda opened camp for their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday five encounter against Nigeria in Kigali on Sunday.

The session was supervised by newly appointed head coach, Adel Amrouche.

The invited home-based players took part in training session.

They are expected to be joined in camp by their foreign-based counterparts on Monday (today).

Amrouche named a 28-man provisional squad for the game and the matchday six fixture with the Crocodiles of Lesotho last Saturday.

The Amavubi will host the Super Eagles at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali on Friday.
